Paige & Klaus
Paige & Klaus’ wedding was just so good! The thought & care taken to bring everything together was apparent & yet they were both the most relaxed couple ever!
We had some really notable moments during the day. It all started when the boys decided to 'create' dress shirts with some nails & knives, moments before we were due for the first look! Not the easiest of tasks & I can only imagine the look Paige would have given if she could see this happening!
We had a first look at Tupare gardens & managed to avoid bumping into another wedding due to be held there later on, by jumping into bushes & bamboo. A quick drive to Lake Mangamahoe where this awesome bridal party didn’t think twice about hitching their skirts & tramping across a steep paddock before negotiating a barbed wire stile all to get the photo!
Following a lovely ceremony beneath an arch made by Klaus, the bride & groom exited down the aisle expecting their confetti shower. A slight change of plan meant that the confetti was to be set off at the end, but as I was walking backwards I couldn’t see them. Now I love confetti & I always harp on that you can never have to much, but I met my match with 3 confetti canons & some wind! Needless to say my photos look a bit like 'where's Wally' & I’m very sorry for screaming!
Lastly, when disappearing off for some sunset photos, we pulled into a driveway & were greeted by a lovely gentleman who then brought out his 1939 Essex for us to drive into the paddock. What luck....although I wish I could have claimed I'd set it up!
