Mark & Juliette

With a backdrop of a newly scorched Paritutu rock, this couple were bound to make headlines...

Paritutu was on fire on Friday night & by Saturday morning a beautiful arch of flowers sat beneath it, awaiting the bride & groom.

Mark & Juliette had chosen their ceremony venue as it held a special place in each of their hearts. Juliette was escorted down the aisle & given away by her son, Samuel, who also had the important job of looking after the rings. Beck helicopters were busy dousing the remnants of the fire with their monsoon bucket, but were thoughtful enough to take a tea break whilst the vows were made, so that everyone could hear.

We took in a few sites around New Plymouth whilst photographing the bridal party, but I wasn't expecting a trip to the playground!

The weather held just long enough for the ceremony to finish & we even managed to see the mountain briefly. To top it all, these guys even made it onto the front page of the newspaper!!

Here's a little taster of such a fun & happy day.
