Hinerangi & Jérémy
Beneath our majestic mountain, overlooking the sea, Hinerangi & Jérémy brought France to New Zealand to be marrried with their families.
Armed with very important witnesses, but no bridesmaids or groomsmen, preparations were simple & relaxed & helped along by some very quirky accessories. Lydia brought along stylishly named velour tracksuits which, despite the heat, were worn with pride. I always come armed with a plain wooden coat hanger for dress shots, however when the dresses are hanging from llama heads, there was no way they needed to be changed!!
The ceremony was tri-lingual (French, English & Māori) & even Rose, the celebrant, had practiced her French for her part. Their son, Javier, was the perfect ring bearer & gave us all beaming smiles as he delivered his special gift.
With the clocks going back & just dipping us into daylight savings, our photos were full of water coloured skies & the most delicious light. It was easy to get carried away with the magic & forget about dinner....sorry Danger!
It wouldn't be a wedding if I didn't cry & Hinerangi's father's speech made sure of that! His words were full of pride & love for his daughter, Jérémy & their beautiful family.
Merci de partager mon enthousiasme pour buttes dans les champs!! Vous souhaitant une vie pleine de bonheur.
