Emillie & Troy
After, what seemed like, endless rain & two wet weddings in a row....the sun finally shone & it was hot!
Emillie & Troy were married in Oakura, at her Uncle's house, in a beautiful garden setting. They both got ready at opposite ends of the house (without peeking) & the boys were well groomed at Jetcharm.
Emillie had spent the last year wrapping jars with twine & burlap that added just the right look to her 'hippie', bohemian wedding. A beautiful arch adorned with lace dream catchers & ribbon was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Paper lanterns, sweet bouquets & hair wreaths, bowties, beards & lots of smiles made this a day to remember.
We took a picnic to Lucy's Gully for some woodland shots & then drove towards the beach to find some wispy grass & a rolling paddock to do some class posing in!
This was such a lovely day with so many sentimental & beautiful touches....it really made me smile as I edited the images. Troy's beard, however, made me giggle...I really didn't realise a beard could have such comedic value when faced with some classic, romantic poses!!!
I wish you both a lifetime of happiness...enjoy a snapshot of your day.
p.s: don't forget to watch the video at the bottom!
Check out this gorgeous little film of Emillie & Troy's special day, made by the very talented Kate Lahood.
