Charlotte & Ross
Charlotte & Ross had the most spectacular day for their wedding back just before Christmas. The sun shone (& fried me like a piece of bacon) & the sky was the purest blue. As Ross had proposed to Charlotte at the summit of Mount Taranaki, we were desperately hoping for a clear day for some shots with the mountain, so we were pretty blessed to be granted the best view ever!
Charlotte wore the most exquisite dress by Liah Roebuck Bridal, & I got quite carried away taking photos of the dress & flowers in the stairwell where I drooled over the light!
After a lovely ceremony at Northpoint Church, the couple set off in 'Gloria' (the other woman), a cute little car constructed by Ross, for a mini adventure on the way to the reception. We made an essential stop at the Lepperton Store as both Charlotte & her sister, Sophie, had worked there in their teens.
A grand entrance in Gloria took us back to Charlotte's homestead & a well adorned marquee. A four tiered masterpiece of a cake & a special birthday cake for Ross' niece took centre stage & an eclectic array of old bottles (rescued & recycled from an old landfill) made sweet little centre pieces to the tables.
Thanks for inviting me along for the ride & big love to my fab second photographer, Coby.
